Scott Kiere
I build things that make people more capable.
I am the founding builder of BuildHuman™, the creator of Purpose Intelligence™, and the CEO of Urban Green Development.
Over three decades, I have built companies, written books, developed real estate, and designed human development frameworks ~ all organized around one conviction: the most valuable thing you can build is a capable human being.
This site is the map of all of it.
The Question
We are living through the largest infrastructure buildout in human history. AI is rewriting every system it touches ~ logistics, medicine, law, finance, education, creativity. And it is doing it fast.
But there is a design problem no one is solving. Every new system assumes a capable operator. Someone who can think clearly. Act with intention. Sustain effort over time. Know what they are building and why. And almost no one is building that person.
The tools are accelerating. The humans are not. That gap is the most important design problem of the next century.
My thesis is simple: the most valuable infrastructure left to build is the human being.
What I Built
The Hub
BuildHuman™ is the operating company for all of it. It is the container for a body of work that spans human development, organizational design, and applied philosophy ~ unified under a single thesis: the most valuable thing you can build is a capable human being.
At the center of BuildHuman™ sits Purpose Intelligence™ ~ a methodology for translating identity, values, and lived experience into coherent decisions and regenerative impact. It operates through three instruments: Soul Cartography™ (the orienting practice), Cartographic Intelligence™ (the structured methodology), and The Inner Map™ (the living deliverable).

I started building in college ~ not buildings yet, but the instinct. The sense that the systems around me were not designed to make people more capable, and that someone should do something about that.
That instinct became a career. Real estate development taught me how to put conviction into material form. Seventeen years of leading Urban Green Development taught me that what you build shapes who people become. And then the question got deeper.
“What if the thing we are building could actually make the people inside it more whole?”
That question became BuildHuman. It became Purpose Intelligence. It inspired the creation of an agency to manage our own brands, became a book series, a philosophy, and a way of seeing the world that now organizes everything I do.
